As I put together my final preperations to speak tomorrow in NYC at Microsoft’s Code Camp, my only surprise at being a presenter is that I’m qualified as an entry level person. I had assumed that you had to have years of experience in the field. My presentation will be be on beginning Microsoft development as a beginner.
I found a very insightful blog post that was Tweeted by Rachel Appel on why more women weren’t presenting at tech conferences.
I was planning to post my notes and feedback from tomorrow’s conference and now I’ll be commenting on this phenomenon as well.
